How to use Kitty for Google Chrome

Install the extension, pick a virtual pet, and customize your browsing experience. Follow the steps below to get started in a few minutes.

On Chrome Web Store, press the "Add to Chrome" button to add Kitty for Google Chrome to your browser.

Confirmation - Be sure to confirm installation by pressing "Add extension" in the popup dialog.
Installed - Chrome will show an installed notification and open a window with Kitty for Google Chrome instructions.

Kitty for Google Chrome will be active immediately after installation. When opening a new tab, allow Chrome to use it as the main one by clicking "Keep It".

You can change the pet. Open the options menu, visit the site, and choose the one you like - it will follow you from tab to tab.
You can choose a new item next to the pet. Go to the items section on the site and pick one that fits your pet.
You can change the new tab background color from predefined options in the extension menu.
You can enable dark theme in the options menu to reduce eye strain at night.
You can search from a convenient search bar with hints, just like before - only better.

Go to the site through the options menu, open the Pets section, and click the "Add" button under the pet you like.

Open the site from the extension options menu or your bookmark and check whether new pets have appeared or new items have become available.

Right-click the extension logo and select "Remove from Chrome". In the popup, click "Remove".
